A dance track is like a great ad, a breaking news story, a captivating web page, a breathtaking picture, with a sound that instantly draws you in. If you don’t catch your audience’s attention within the first minute, you have lost their interest.

I am a perfectionist-at-heart when it comes to my music and will spend as much time as needed on the music selections, reordering the tracks, adjusting the the mixes and their transitions, and make sure they are on queue to create a perfect and dramatic mix which is why I called this dance track “ON-Q”

If I am not happy with my performance then I cannot reach out to my audience with my best sound. Dance away!

It’s amazing to realize the amount of creative talent that comes together in the production of any single piece of music from the original song writers, the performers, musicians, singers, the recording studios, the re-mixers,  DJs, broadcasters, voiceover talent and so on.

Each and every participant in the creative, production, presentation, and broadcast processes add their own signature style to the presentations, creating a universe of moods and feelings to be presented to their audiences in different entertainment venues and on various media platforms. I do have my own style and preferences that are woven into every dance mix.

This dance track is a celebration of the 2012 New Year and my comeback into the world of live entertainment. I am looking forward to expanding this renewed endeavor into other entertainment opportunities, and venues.

This broadcast is dedicated to people who have influenced my entertainment goals including Phil Morse from digitaldjtips.com, My neighbor DJ Jake Guadez, Mike "The Hitman" Ingrassia, DJ Sam from Atmosphere Productions, DJ Butch Gray, Alan Cusson from the Guitar Center, Stew Crossen from voiceoverworkshop.com, and last but not least, my wife, Angie, who has spun quite a few music sets herself and shares my continuing interest in different genres of dance music.
